The Weis lab publishes on the E. coli that Alli isolated while a postdoc in the Round lab. It’s a pro-tumorigenic colibactin+ E. coli isolated from human microbiota. This paper describes its phenotype in mouse models of CRC, colitis, and sepsis, and compares its genome with NC101. Check it out!
